About Your Weekend Experience
The Shanghai International Circuit is a must-visit for race fans, offering an electrifying experience with its array of grandstands, each providing a unique and heart-pounding view of the action! Every grandstand boasts a large TV screen, and most are comfortably covered, ensuring you catch every thrilling moment!
If you're seeking flexibility, General Admission (GA) tickets are an amazing choice at the circuit. These tickets grant access to a designated area without assigned seating and are more budget-friendly than standard tickets, making them perfect for fans who want to enjoy the excitement without breaking the bank!
The circuit's breathtaking design, inspired by the Chinese symbol for ‘shang’, meaning upwards, is not only a visual masterpiece from above but also a beloved track for drivers. The race launches with an adrenaline-charged start as drivers conquer the ever-tightening Turns 1 and 2, then swiftly maneuver through Turns 3 and 4. The exhilarating g-forces of Turns 7 and 8 are a driver’s dream, and the track features one of the longest straights on the calendar—a jaw-dropping 1.2km stretch between Turns 13 and 14!
Need to Know: Chinese Grand Prix Tickets
All tickets via official suppliers are sold for 3 days (single-day tickets are available from the local promoter)
China is the only current F1 race to use facial recognition for circuit and grandstand entry. After purchasing tickets, you will be asked to provide passport details for the personalization of your tickets.
The Main, H & K grandstands are covered. Most sections of the new Grandstand B are not covered. Neither are the General Admission areas. Rain is a distinct possibility at the Chinese race, so be prepared if you’ve chosen the cheaper General Admission tickets.
All grandstands have views of at least one big screen TV, whilst the General Admission areas do not.
