Current F1 drivers are thrilled about the Zandvoort track, describing it as "really quick," "pretty insane," "crazy," and "old-school." Many recall fond memories of racing there in their junior years. We’d also add "undulating" to the list! This circuit winds through the sand dunes, offering a thrilling, rollercoaster-like experience. Although the track was updated for F1's recent return, with the famous Tarzan corner's banking increased to an impressive 18 degrees, Zandvoort remains a true, challenging drivers' circuit. It’s a dream for F1 fans, combining many captivating elements. There's the historic track, immortalized in John Frankenheimer’s Grand Prix, and the backdrop of numerous legendary F1 moments (who could forget Gilles Villeneuve’s three-wheeled lap?). The atmosphere is always electric, especially with Max Verstappen on the grid, creating a vibrant sea of orange. Plus, the beachside location is just a quick 30-minute train ride from Amsterdam. What's not to love? We suggest watching from the exciting first turn at Tarzan or one of the banked corners like Arie Luyendijkbocht, the final turn, or Hugenholtzbocht.
