Season finale, golden sunset, fireworks over the marina—Yas is built for a big finish. Grand Prix Getaways stitches together your grandstand, shuttles and end-of-season celebrations.
What to know about the area
Yas Island is a self-contained leisure zone; concerts and theme parks sit alongside the circuit. Saadiyat and downtown Abu Dhabi are short rides away.
Getting to/from the circuit
Complimentary Yas Express shuttles connect island hotels, the circuit and the airport. Taxis are plentiful; Dubai transfers are straightforward on race weekend.
Best seating
Main: grid, pit lane and podium fireworks.
West/North: heavy braking and marina vistas.
Marina/South: multi-corner sequences with strong elevation and screens.
What you can/can’t bring
No outside food/drink (except baby/medical), no glass, coolers, drones, large flags, flares or weapons. Small refillable plastic bottles are typically OK at hydration points; check event-week guidance.
Best 5-star hotels
W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island (over the track), Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island, Four Seasons Abu Dhabi, Rosewood Abu Dhabi.
Best restaurants
Bookables for a celebratory finale: Talea (Italian, Michelin-starred), Hakkasan, Zuma Abu Dhabi, plus marina-side seafood spots.
Little-known gotchas
After-race concerts are a short walk from several grandstands; allow time to clear security again if zones are segmented. The sun is strong—pack sun sleeves even in December.
