Old City walls, a 2-km blast and sunset over the Caspian—Baku is a gem. With Grand Prix Getaways, you’ll thread the needle between comfort and chaos.
What to know about the area
The circuit weaves through downtown; most luxury hotels are a quick walk or short ride away. Expect late-night vibes and waterfront strolls.
Getting to/from the circuit
Walk if you can. Otherwise, use taxis/ride-hailing or the Metro to nearby stations—road closures change daily.
Best seating
Absheron/Main: start/finish, pit lane and podium.
Icheri Sheher (Old City): slow, technical castle section—unique views.
AzNeft/Bulvar: long-straight braking and overtakes.
What you can/can’t bring
Very strict. No outside food or drink, no large lenses, chairs, coolers, drones or big flags. Use a small daypack and carry ID.
Best 5-star hotels
Four Seasons Baku, Fairmont Flame Towers, Ritz-Carlton Baku, JW Marriott Absheron.
Best restaurants
For Azerbaijani flavors: Şirvanşah, Firuze, Sumakh, Qaynana. For fine dining with views: Mari Vanna, Café City.
Little-known gotchas
Security lines can be slow; arrive early for FP3/Quali when crowds spike. The wind can whip along the boulevard—pack a light layer.
Go curated. We’ll place you near your gate and arrange grandstands/hospitality through F1 Packages and VIP Hospitality.
