CDMX is altitude, attitude and that stadium podium moment. With Grand Prix Getaways, you’ll hit the sweet spot between spectacle and comfort.
What to know about the area
Polanco, Roma and Condesa are prime for luxury stays and dining. The autódromo sits in a sports complex east of center.
Getting to/from the circuit
Take Metro Line 9 to Velódromo, Ciudad Deportiva or Puebla depending on your gate. Carry small cash for incidentals; avoid bringing valuables.
Best seating
Foro Sol 14/15: electric stadium atmosphere and podium views.
Turns 1–3 (3/3A/5/6): best for overtakes and the start.
Main: grid and pit stops.
What you can/can’t bring
Expect bans on umbrellas with sharp tips, big flags/poles, large bags, professional cameras, outside drinks and most food. Small soft bags and rain ponchos are safest.
Best 5-star hotels
Four Seasons Mexico City, The Ritz-Carlton Mexico City, Sofitel Mexico City Reforma, St. Regis Mexico City.
Best restaurants
High-demand tables: Quintonil, Pujol, Rosetta, Máximo Bistrot, plus daytime Contramar.
Little-known gotchas
Sun is intense at altitude—hydration and SPF matter even in milder temps. Metro is fastest post-race; rideshares can gridlock for hours.
